NEURO EMOTIONAL TECHNIQUE
Neuro Emotional technique: Traumas, hardships, and long-term stresses can cause pain, anxiety, depression, stress and many health problems. According to the WebMD 75-90% of doctor’s visits are due to stress-related illness. Most of our patients in Sunrise and Downtown Miami experience stress at some time. Most people aren’t aware that there are chiropractors that specialize in treating people with anxiety, and stress-related pain.
WHY WE CAN’T LET GO OF THE PAST
What would happen if a big snake jumped on you one day when you were sitting on a bench? You would be horrified and frightened. Lets say the snake was killed by a passing stranger and you were saved, but your body never returned to the state you were in before the snake jumped on you, and you spent the rest of your life feeling like a snake was about to slowly suffocate and eat you. While it is normal for us to experience stress, sometimes following a stressor, body chemistry doesn’t return to normal. For some of us, one event or experience can cause us to walk around with a heavy pack of unwanted baggage for the rest of our lives. Especially if this even happened to us in childhood. Events like divorce, abandonment by a parent, war, work stress, shootings on television, economic stress, sexual assault, lost lovers, even childhood bullying can leave us with a lifetime of anxiety.
STRESS IS NOT IN JUST IN YOUR HEAD
Stress and anxiety literally ravish the body. Under stress cascades of chemicals are produced in the Reptilian Brain (lower part of the brain). They are immediately pumped through the rest of the body sometimes for years.
Dr. Candice Pert in her book “Molecules of Emotion” discovered that she could identify molecules in the body that she could correlate with emotions, she named them information substance. Her work proved that stress doesn’t exist in our heads, but stressors create an information substance that is made up of hormones and other chemicals that alter the way we feel and the way our body works. This substance often attaches to DNA and affects replication and disables our body’s’ ability to make healthy new cells.
END UNCONTROLLED ANXIETY
Each of us has experienced stressful events in the past. Most of us get over it without any unpleasant aftereffects. However, there are times when an unpleasant experience not only leaves behind a memory, but also an unresolved mind-body pattern, or neuro-emotional complex. This is similar to having a continuous Pavlovian response to only one stimulus, and salivating to a bell ring even though there is no food for the next 50 years. These patterns get in the way of our health, relationships, and success. On New Year’s Eve, we make our resolutions, but our neuro-emotional patterns are sometimes not congruent with our resolutions. Stuck mind-body patterns sabotage our health and relationships and prevent us from having the life we were meant to live.
It is based on a proven combination of the latest scientific research and centuries-old techniques used in Eastern Healing. It utilizes Applied Kinesiology, Chiropractic and the Acupuncture Meridian System, to quickly access and release these complexes, while getting a gentle chiropractic adjustment. Many patients report that this technique is life-changing. One study demonstrated substantial positive, visible brain changes in patients who received NET treatment for only 6 visits.
